Inked Stripes Thank You

Today's card is one I made for a customer to thank her for a recent order. I wanted to showcase the versatility of the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. All I did here was rub my Tangerine Tango Stampin' Pad over the embossing folder until all the raised lines were inked. I then ran the card base through the Big Shot which resulted in the orange and white textured stripes.

I love that it looks imperfect. If that's not a look you like, you could do the same technique but instead of rubbing the ink pad directly onto the folder, you could ink up a brayer then run the brayer over the embossing folder. The ink should come out very uniform and should not cover the depressed lines at all. An easy technique and another use for your embossing folders. Try it out!
